Forgot To Laugh
Quick outfit post on what I wore last Tumblr Fair II. I only have a few photos because mom and i were running late for our Mother’s Day Celebration & sister’s birthday.
Because I knew it’s going to be really hot that day (though it was a cloudy morning), I opted to wear something cotton and i’d be comfortable wearing with Manila’s intense heat. I was actually going for a skater skirt + shirt at first but then I realized that I might not be able to move that much if we were going to fix and prepare stuff for the fair. Hence, the sleeveless top and ombre shorts combination.
I was at the registration booth the entire time and Nicole and I kept on talking about buying a floral crown since everyone was selling it. I then asked my mom to go look for one in Debbie & Demmie Fermin’s booth. She doesn’t know which one to pick because every piece was really nice. I ended up getting this one though and I didn’t realize until now that it actually matches my shorts.
Random: Up to know, i’m still wondering how many people wore, bought and sold flower crowns during the Tumblr Fair. Moreover, how many people wore flower crowns yesterday during Wanderland Fest?! Haha!

Random Thoughts
As I was browsing through old files on my hard drive, I stumbled upon these circa 2009-2011 outfit photos that I never really blogged about. I was just starting then and text/outfit posts were not yet my thing, I guess I just posted them on lookbook/chictopia for fun.
Anyway, looking through these throwback photos made me realize how my personal style grew. From a pretty laid back outfit and spicing it up with a pair of boots and accessories to my eclectic style nowadays.
As you might’ve noticed, I got so used to wearing basic tees + shorts, accessorizing and pairing it up with boots. But now, I pretty much wear anything (except for skimpy and really tight clothes).
Oh yeah, and notice how my hair was REALLY flat then — with my flat full bangs!! Haha! I remember my best friend telling me that she never had a hard time looking for me in the caf during lunch/recess ‘cause all she has to do is look for the girl with a really straight and shiny hair. Haha!

Denim Day
Cheers to a lagged post! haha! Sem’s finally over so i shall start with my backlogs! And yes, I am still alive.
Denim over denim on a typical day, i mean, Heart’s Day in school. I don’t like wearing pants cause it’s hot, it makes me look short and I have overly huge thighs, oh yeah, and did I say it’s HOT? But I have no choice, we have a pretty strict dress code.
Al and I planned to wear a denim polo on Heart’s Day and it turns out everyone in school also wore one. I remember last year’s Heart’s Day, we wore a red plaid and everyone also wore a red plaid. Coincidence much? Your call! Haha!

wore this skirt two times already since i got the parcel from romwe. however, it’s only now that i was finally able to take photos + publish the draft. talk about lagged posts. haha!
i often wear mullet skirts or knee length skirts cause i feel like they make me look short but this galaxy print skirt from romwe is an exception. the print + drapes + cut is just irresistible!

Taylor Swift for KEDS + ZALORA
A few months back, i’ve been eyeing on the Limited Edition Taylor Swift Red Keds. When it was released in the US, stocks went out really fast and so i reserved a pair in all online shops where it is available for the second batch of release to make sure i get my hands on a pair.
However, while waiting for the second batch, Keds Philippines announced that they will be releasing the red keds here in the Philippines, so I immediately went to SM Megamall and Makati to leave my contact details and to reserve a pair because the launch, where people could pre-order was of the same date as our company’s christmas party and so i couldn’t go.
I also called Complex Lifestyle Store in Eastwood and ask for details as to when they’ll release it and went to numerous Shoe Salon stores to make sure I get a pair. I know, i know, i’m an avid Taylor Swift fan. Haha! So anyway, while waiting for their response, my sister showed me Zalora’s e-mail that they are accepting pre-orders of the Taylor Swift Red Keds. Upon reading the e-mail, I freaked out and immediately opened my laptop to order one.
Zalora said that shipping of the item will start on the 28th of December, i guess they didn’t have it here in the Philippines yet. But guess what, early morning of the 23rd, my lola told me that Zalora called and they will already deliver my Taylor Swift keds!! I really got excited knowing that the item came early and I could wear it on Christmas day.
It was actually my first time to order from Zalora and I really love their service. They call before delivering your item to make sure there’s someone at home to claim your item, they deliver as early as 6:00 am and even on Sundays, plus, you could pay for your purchase upon delivery. It’s really less hassle because you won’t have to wait in line in stores or go to a bank to pay. They also have a size guide and a return form if you didn’t like the item you bought. I really love my first ever Zalora experience and so this won’t definitely be the last time i’ll order from them.
